Tom Prinsell is a prolific young artist out of New Jersey with a passion to blur the line between weird and normal and bridge the gap between exotic and ordinary. His paintings explore the mundane experiences of postmodern suburban and urban life. Using flat, vibrant colors, stilted portrayals of privileged discomfort provoke the viewer to regard their own elusive anomy. He has shown in multiple galleries and venues throughout North Jersey and Brooklyn. He is also the children’s collateral artist and muralist at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square.[/vc_column_text]
